Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dexter Snell took the kick off in the first half of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as United States's Karl Fleming slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Demonde Jacobson. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. Jamaica were furious when Geroy Ascue was red carded, 8 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Jamaica fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 8th minute. Penalty! An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl Fleming in the 17th minute of play forced Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, Leron Sale got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Karlus Waugh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Renaldo David tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Darron Healy notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson. Demonde Jacobson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 33rd minute, Karl Fleming hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Karlus Waugh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Demonde Jacobson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dexter Snell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 42 minutes, Sherman Sosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. United States's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sherman Sosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 44 played minutes Jamaica got a freekick which was hit by Jamaall Padmore. 46 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sherman Sosa. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The wind increased when Karlus Waugh made the kick off in the second half. Demonde Jacobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl Fleming, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Karl Fleming took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Demonde Jacobson. Demonde Jacobson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Demonde Jacobson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dexter Snell's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Leron Sale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When United States's Dexter Snell in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jamaica's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of United States booed when Jamaica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romon Oliver didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 70 played minutes Jamaica got a freekick which was hit by Karlus Waugh. Demonde Jacobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dexter Snell, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Karlus Waugh hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Demonde Jacobson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sherman Sosa in the 76th minute of the match. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dexter Snell in the 77th minute of play. Romon Oliver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Renaldo David tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Demonde Jacobson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dexter Snell in the 81st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dexter Snell in the 84th minute of play forced Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in United States's zone, Leron Sale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renaldo David came out of the goal and Leron Sale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 89 minutes into the match, Dexter Snell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Demonde Jacobson. Jamaica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dexter Snell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. 93 minutes into the match, United States's goalkeeper Renaldo David had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karlus Waugh. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Jarell Hill managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jamaica's supporters rose to their feet, but Jarell Hill was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Renaldo David breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. United States walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
