In the 9th minute, one of El Salvador:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for El Salvador. In the 11th minute there was a penalty for Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK. Herbert Mårtensson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ricardo Zorita. 0-1. After having played for 15 minutes, Jorge Magrina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Salvador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Magrina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Christer Sundin charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christer Sundin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Christer Sundin hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Zebastian Rudkvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moises Fernandino in the 25th minute. Moises Fernandino scored 1-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zebastian Rudkvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 31 minutes into the game, Moises Fernandino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Zebastian Rudkvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zebastian Rudkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Luque, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 38 minutes into the game, Jimmie Hellström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Salvador the free kick. After a rather tough play, Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Jimmie Hellström got a free kick in the 38th minute. Moises Fernandino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Zebastian Rudkvist made a huge save. With his leg Zebastian Rudkvist managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when El Salvador's Moises Fernandino fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moises Fernandino got free with Zebastian Rudkvist in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Moises Fernandino made the kick off in the second half. Zebastian Rudkvist came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by El Salvador's Moises Fernandino. But to his dismay, Moises Fernandino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 58th minute, Moises Fernandino made a precise shot to the right of Zebastian Rudkvist. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Abram Luque struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Zebastian Rudkvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Salvador. Abram Luque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mateo Leguizamo during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Mateo Leguizamo got a free kick in the 66th minute. After 68 minutes, Moises Fernandino made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Zebastian Rudkvist tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Mateo Leguizamo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute, Moises Fernandino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Salvador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. Zebastian Rudkvist came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by El Salvador's Moises Fernandino. But to his dismay, Moises Fernandino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. After 86 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Leguizamo. Zebastian Rudkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Fernandino in the 89th minute of the match. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Herbert Mårtensson quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Luis Rubio, made in the 93rd minute of the game. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's attentive Herbert Mårtensson managed to snatch the ball when Valentino Ferrant made a throw-in in the 95th minute of the game. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
