Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Thornhill City's Staniša Šorgić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 8th minute of play. Staniša Šorgić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Staniša Šorgić came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Radoman Karaičić came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Thornhill City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Radoman Karaičić couldn't finish the play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radoman Karaičić in the 15th minute of play. After 17 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marko Vidanović who took care of the corner kick. Staniša Šorgić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 19th minute of play. In the 24th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Staniša Šorgić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Radoman Karaičić showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 25 minute of play. Staniša Šorgić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Antonio Arias fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Staniša Šorgić quite easily take care of the ball. Staniša Šorgić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Staniša Šorgić made a huge save. A throw-in in the 56th minute of the game was made by Primitivo Andino with Felix Montenegro as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After a rather tough play, Thornhill City's Oscar-Alfredo Ruggeri got a free kick in the 59th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Staniša Šorgić in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thornhill City made a substitution. Siniša Ognjanović replaced Dejan Jovanić. After 73 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Andino. 74 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Ninoslav Mijanović came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Primitivo Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th minute Ninoslav Mijanović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ninoslav Mijanović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 83 minutes of play, Ecuador's Luis Andino made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Staniša Šorgić was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Staniša Šorgić in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 88 minutes into the game, Primitivo Andino threw the ball into play from the sideline. Thornhill City's Siniša Ognjanović quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Staniša Šorgić made a huge save.
