The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Elvijs Presley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out.
