In the 16th minute Eugenio Oliverios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 22nd minute of play forced FC UGNINIAI's goalkeeper Ildefonso Niguel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo José Furlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ildefonso Niguel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo José Furlan. In the 35thth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC UGNINIAI's Ildefonso Niguel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, FC UGNINIAI's Rodion Tsernienko got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andi Carlsen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Ákos Németh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC UGNINIAI's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Tomas Illescas scored to the left of an out of position Ildefonso Niguel, making the score, 0-1. Rigoberto Mina hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ákos Németh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ildefonso Niguel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. In the 69th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. After 70 minutes of play, FC UGNINIAI's Ákos Németh made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Isidoro Martin hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andi Carlsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 90th minute of play forced FC UGNINIAI's goalkeeper Ildefonso Niguel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ildefonso Niguel saved FC UGNINIAI from getting behind. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
