A collision led to Vjsk Youth Brooklyn getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Ivar Nyberg hit a great ball. Vjsk Youth Brooklyn's Pål Ferm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Vjsk Youth Brooklyn from getting a goal against them. After 5 minutes, Jorge Magrina mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Salvador and the Vjsk Youth Brooklyn players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Jorge Magrina got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 8th minute, Moises Fernandino reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pål Ferm. The goal made the score 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moises Fernandino got free with Pål Ferm in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pål Ferm came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by El Salvador's Moises Fernandino. But to his dismay, Moises Fernandino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aron Kråk in the 20th minute of play. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edwin Blom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 28 in the game by Moises Fernandino from a close distance when the talented Pål Ferm managed to make a qualified save. Vjsk Youth Brooklyn's players were relieved. Vjsk Youth Brooklyn's Pål Ferm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Vjsk Youth Brooklyn from getting a goal against them. Marco Tamayo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pål Ferm having to interfere. Joshua Curbelo got a throw-in 38 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Abram Luque. 40 minutes into the match, Moises Fernandino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pål Ferm. Vjsk Youth Brooklyn's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Moises Fernandino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edwin Blom to make the kick off. Pål Ferm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Fernandino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Mateo Leguizamo got a free kick in the 55th minute. With a little luck, El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita got control of the ball when Edwin Blom tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 58th minute Vjsk Youth Brooklyn were awarded a corner. Jon Simonsson went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Jon Simonsson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ricardo Zorita quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Abram Luque came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the El Salvador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abram Luque couldn't finish the play. Rebeldino Rebec struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Ricardo Zorita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vjsk Youth Brooklyn. Vjsk Youth Brooklyn's Edwin Blom got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Jesus Carvallo fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Salvador's protests and gave Jesus Carvallo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 69th minute, Edwin Blom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jon Simonsson made in the 73rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Brian Mutev however managed to control. 80 minutes into the match, Moises Fernandino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pål Ferm. Vjsk Youth Brooklyn's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Moises Fernandino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Moises Fernandino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Pål Ferm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Edwin Blom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Vjsk Youth Brooklyn defense, Moises Fernandino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pål Ferm. The Vjsk Youth Brooklyn fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pål Ferm should have stopped the shot.
