Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mariano Lacasa got the match started through his kick off. Marcos Lama showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 6th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Veth Crystals's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Marcos Lama reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariano Lacasa scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Lama, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Carlos-Armando Valderrama in the 18thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Thiago Pliego, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Marcos Lama took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Casaus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcos Lama narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 26th match minute, Veth Crystals was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ludomir Radzyminski to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Lama saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30thth minute of the game Gwidon Patora who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Veth Crystals's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Song Xing in the 31st minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Chile's goalie and right to He Lin Di. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Chile's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 34 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Lama. Veth Crystals's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Lacasa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 37th minute, Erik Persson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcos Lama took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ludomir Radzyminski hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erik Persson in the 44th minute. Mariano Lacasa took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Lama. Marcos Lama dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.
An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Persson in the 55th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chile's Xavier Figueroa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marcos Lama in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 65 minutes of play, Chile's Mariano Lacasa made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Lama was left in no man's land by his defense there! Veth Crystals made a substitution. Sebastian Wierzchowski replaced He Lin Di. Veth Crystals's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Mariano Lacasa scored to the left of an out of position Marcos Lama, making the score, 0-5. In the 78th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Tamayo to maneuver through the defense. Veth Crystals's Marcos Lama played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 84th minute of play. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 91 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcos Lama narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 96 minutes into the game, Mariano Lacasa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcos Lama. Mariano Lacasa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. When the match was over Chile could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Veth Crystals throughout the match.
