Despite this Koulis Mestas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. 75 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Koulis Mestas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 77th minute, Mariano Lacasa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Koulis Mestas was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mánthia's goalkeeper Koulis Mestas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Koulis Mestas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Orlando Casaus went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Koulis Mestas came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Mariano Lacasa. But to his dismay, Mariano Lacasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Iphitos Gravari could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. Dionisio Dicastillo struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Thiago Pliego didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mánthia. When the referee ended the match the Chile players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
