Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Slawomir Majak started the match with the kick off. Ma Yong Jun came out of the goal in the 2nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Slawomir Majak, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Ma Yong Jun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 7th minute of the match. With his leg Julio Vera managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when Karen FC's Arvin Svanberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Arvin Svanberg sent off a good shot on target. In the 13th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Slawomir Majak got free with Julio Vera in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 18 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Slawomir Majak came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ma Yong Jun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Luis Andino made in the 24th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Cristian Sancho. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 35th minute of play forced Karen FC's goalkeeper Ma Yong Jun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arvin Svanberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ma Yong Jun having to interfere. Slawomir Majak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 52 in the game by Agustín Saelices from a close distance when the talented Ma Yong Jun managed to make a qualified save. Karen FC's players were relieved. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Slawomir Majak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karen FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Slawomir Majak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Ma Yong Jun made a huge save. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arvin Svanberg in the 58th minute of play. The supporters of Karen FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 59 minutes, Slawomir Majak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karen FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Slawomir Majak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Arvin Svanberg came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karen FC were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rickard Lövkvist took the corner. Ma Yong Jun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 66th minute. In the 69th minute of the game Camilo Gisbert made a throw-in which Cristian Sancho played forward. 70 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ma Yong Jun. Cristian Sancho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Agustín Saelices's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ma Yong Jun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arvin Svanberg in the 75th minute of play. With a little luck, Karen FC's Ma Yong Jun got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 76th minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. In the 82nd minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Slawomir Majak in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ma Yong Jun having to make a save. Ma Yong Jun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 91st minute. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
