After 37 minutes, Berkay Yildıran mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Obi Wan Cannabis and the Honduras players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45th minute, Edmundo Espiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The referee ignored Obi Wan Cannabis's protests and gave Teodor Buitrago a yellow card for diving instead. In the 65th minute, Teodor Buitrago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 74 minutes into the game, Santiago Diaz Montero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Edmundo Espiga shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
