In the 8th match minute, MINAS TIRITH was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Mardarie to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 8th minute of play forced MINAS TIRITH's goalkeeper Niculae Dudău to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niculae Dudău having to interfere. Niculae Dudău took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Phoenix Alb sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 21 minutes, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the MINAS TIRITH defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Niculae Dudău. The MINAS TIRITH fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Niculae Dudău should have stopped the shot. George Alupulesei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Niculae Dudău didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Phoenix Alb charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Phoenix Alb the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Phoenix Alb hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Phoenix Alb tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 35 played minutes MINAS TIRITH got a freekick which was hit by George Alupulesei. Antonio Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liviu Vlăsiu in the 38th minute of the match. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Niculae Dudău tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 43 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Niculae Dudău was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Liviu Vlăsiu hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 46th minute of play forced MINAS TIRITH's goalkeeper Niculae Dudău to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The MINAS TIRITH players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-2.

MINAS TIRITH's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Montenegro got free with Niculae Dudău in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to MINAS TIRITH getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Görkem Büyükada hit a great ball. The supporters of Ecuador booed when MINAS TIRITH was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dragoş Solomon didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than MINAS TIRITH.
