Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Candelaria FC's Arnaldo Marquez started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute of the match Axel Montenegro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Danilo Testa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Arnaldo Marquez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Sven-Olof Sjöberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Candelaria FC's Danilo Testa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 15th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bart Pellen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Candelaria FC booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Navarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Candelaria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Santino Seco came free, but Danilo Testa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santino Seco hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Pedro Manzanares was a little too slow when Arnaldo Marquez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 2-0. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Sven-Olof Sjöberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Axel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 45th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Testa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Danilo Testa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santino Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abram Sarmiento to strike the kick off in the second half. Danilo Testa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Mastache, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 55th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Tafalla to maneuver through the defense. Axel Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Danilo Testa having to make a save. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Montenegro couldn't finish the play. Candelaria FC's Christian Gómez was substituted for Sven-Olof Sjöberg. 70 minutes into the match, Candelaria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Mastache came free, but Danilo Testa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Candelaria FC's Antonio Alzamendi. But to his dismay, Antonio Alzamendi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Candelaria FC's goalkeeper Danilo Testa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Alzamendi in the 78th minute of the match. Santino Seco kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Wieslaw Bielejewski hit a great ball. Candelaria FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Colombia for a fine match.
