Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. After 12 minutes FC Gdansk36's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after FC Gdansk36's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Leonardo Leoz managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Adam Matysek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 21st minute. Adam Matysek made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Facundo Cadaval sent off a good shot on target. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cyprian Rekowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 30th minute Iggi Kot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 31 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Mancebo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Luca Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Adam Matysek made a huge save. Luca Zorita was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Matysek having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Ziemowit Fafinski came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ziemowit Fafinski took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cyprian Rekowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Adam Matysek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A nice corner shot did that Joel Gaona got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Adam Matysek quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Matysek having to interfere. When FC Gdansk36's Cyprian Rekowski in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mexico's goalie prevented a goal. Lautaro Mancebo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Witomir Zworski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adam Matysek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 71st minute of play. Cyprian Rekowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Alberto Tafalla scored 1-2 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adam Matysek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. FC Gdansk36's Piotr Kozlowski was substituted for Cyprian Rekowski. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 89th minute. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Luca Rouco sped through FC Gdansk36's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adam Matysek. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Felix Luque got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
