The CA Boca Jrs fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adriano Alfieri should have stopped the shot. Emiliano Di Luzio took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. 93 minutes into the game, Emiliano Di Luzio lined in a short shot 1-6 behind a frustrated Marcos Cotilla. In the 97th minute, Emiliano Di Luzio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
