Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Danilo Testa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. 12 minutes into the match, Candelaria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Danilo Testa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wieslaw Bielejewski got a throw-in 14 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Matthijs Dekens. In the 16th minute, Axel Montenegro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Kevin Mastache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abram Sarmiento made a kick off. Danilo Testa was a little too slow when Axel Montenegro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 1-2. In the 64th minute, Axel Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 66 minutes into the match, Arnaldo Marquez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnaldo Marquez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Candelaria FC's Christian Gómez was substituted for Sven-Olof Sjöberg. Candelaria FC's Okanalp Özdil was substituted for Arnaldo Marquez. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Okanalp Özdil, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 71st minute, Silvano Porfirio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Danilo Testa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Secada in the 72nd minute of play. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Gómez in the 77th minute of play. After 77 minutes, Matthijs Dekens mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Candelaria FC and the Colombia players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Colombia booed when Candelaria FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthijs Dekens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Samuel Navarro kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Candelaria FC's Marciano Lekubegi got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 84 minutes, Luis Cazalla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Colombia and the Candelaria FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 84th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Cazalla to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Ignacio Mastache took a quick shot and it went in 3-3 without a chance for Danilo Testa to make any attempt to save it. After 91 minutes of play, Candelaria FC's Okanalp Özdil made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! 95 minutes into the match, Ignacio Mastache dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Danilo Testa, 4-4.
