Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) King Koopa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 9th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Kuido Ööpik could save by the left post. Kuido Ööpik was a little too slow when Daniel Zorita got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Axbergs IF's goalkeeper Kuido Ööpik, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Axbergs IF's Mark Arvidsson got a free kick in the 16th minute. Luis Andino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kuido Ööpik having to make a save. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 30th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Kuido Ööpik could save by the left post. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Kuido Ööpik made a huge save. 40 minutes into the match, Axbergs IF's goalkeeper Kuido Ööpik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. In the 41st match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Codruț Dragușin in the 45th minute of play. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kuido Ööpik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A throw-in in the 53rd minute of the game was made by Camilo Gisbert with Daniel Zorita as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Codruț Dragușin in the 55th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 63 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jakob Kjellbom kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claes Kilstedt in the 72nd minute of play. Cristian Sancho shot from long distance after 73 played minutes, a shot that Kuido Ööpik with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar. In the 74th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Axbergs IF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Kuido Ööpik had in the 76thth minute some difficulties stopping Daniel Zorita's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Ecuador's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Herbert Bäcklin 80 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Codruț Dragușin in the 85th minute of the match. Axbergs IF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by King Koopa in the 86th minute. After taking down the ball on Axbergs IF's corner King Koopa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. After 91st play minutes Codruț Dragușin shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Julio Vera and just under the crossbar into goal. Axbergs IF's Codruț Dragușin got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ecuador were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
