Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) 6 minutes into the game, Israel Reno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Walthamstow's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Costa Rica the free kick. In the 6th match minute, Walthamstow was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Israel Reno to maneuver through the defense. Axel Tasis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Gage Pillai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Costa Rica's Axel Tasis got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edwin Lindgren got free with Benito Sanz in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 17th minute, Eliseo Noboa made a precise shot to the right of Gage Pillai. Walthamstow's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The Costa Rica fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Costa Rica's Axel Tasis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Walthamstow's Beagan Colwell in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Costa Rica's goalie prevented a goal. After 30 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Abel Carballo. Gage Pillai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Tasis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Puig hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Faizal Tan from long distance, 40 minutes into the match, got Benito Sanz's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Edwin Lindgren struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Walthamstow. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beagan Colwell in the 44th minute of play.
The wind increased when Beagan Colwell made the kick off in the second half. Gage Pillai was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Axel Tasis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Axel Tasis really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Lautaro Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 63 played minutes Walthamstow got a freekick which was hit by Faizal Tan. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Abel Carballo hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Beagan Colwell in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 74th minute of the match Firdauz Chian sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz skillfully saved the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Walthamstow's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Tasis came free, but Gage Pillai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Eliseo Noboa hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Walthamstow defense, Lautaro Puig kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gage Pillai. The Walthamstow fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gage Pillai should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Walthamstow's zone, Lautaro Puig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gage Pillai came out of the goal and Lautaro Puig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 2-5 when Beagan Colwell sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. Israel Reno hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. 91 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Beagan Colwell came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edwin Lindgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Gage Pillai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Tasis in the 95th minute of play. Israel Reno hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Costa Rica eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
