In the 6th minute Santino Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Safet Hands saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Norrlands Athen's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Safet Hands reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Norrlands Athen's Safet Hands proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Norrlands Athen from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Montenegro got free with Safet Hands in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Måns Sandberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kevin Mastache took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Safet Hands. Safet Hands dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Safet Hands showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 25th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Norrlands Athen's goal looked a bit too open when Santino Seco came free, but Safet Hands reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Norrlands Athen's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Axel Montenegro scored to the left of an out of position Safet Hands, making the score, 2-1. 37 minutes into the game, Orlando Tafalla threw the ball into play from the sideline. Norrlands Athen's Jacinto da Silveira quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 43 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Måns Sandberg came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Måns Sandberg in the 46th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Juan Lebron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. Kevin Mastache kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Norrlands Athen's Måns Sandberg ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Norrlands Athen's Calle Bergfelt was substituted for Urbano Fidencio. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Qian Jian Wei, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. The supporters of Norrlands Athen booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abram Sarmiento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Manzanares was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Gilbert Hermansson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gilbert Hermansson really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Secada in the 78th minute of play forced Norrlands Athen's goalkeeper Safet Hands to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Abram Secada notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Norrlands Athen's Safet Hands. Safet Hands was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Colombia booed when Norrlands Athen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olo Hajs didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Qian Zhen Sheng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilbert Hermansson in the 93rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Norrlands Athen's Filcho Slivkov got a free kick in the 94th minute. After having played for 96 minutes, Calle Bergfelt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Norrlands Athen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Calle Bergfelt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
