Kosin Sihotang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abraham Alguacil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Abraham Alguacil's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kosin Sihotang was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. With an all-out effort, Putra Rewulu's Marcos Cotilla threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Darso Sudarmaji, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Isidoro Sarmiento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isidoro Sarmiento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Putra Rewulu players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Panama were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nickolous Item to make the kick off. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Isidoro Sarmiento kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Tomas Berganza fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 71st minute, Abraham Alguacil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 74 minutes, Isidoro Sarmiento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoro Sarmiento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abraham Alguacil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Kosin Sihotang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ading Prabaya's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kosin Sihotang had great luck who in the 83rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Tomas Berganza from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. If Handoko Subagio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kosin Sihotang was a little too slow when Isidoro Sarmiento got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 0-2. Panama played a much better game than Putra Rewulu and deserved their victory. The Putra Rewulu players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
