In the 5th play minute Epifanio Tuste came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Camilo Freixa. 1-0. With a little luck, Bolivia's Camilo Freixa got control of the ball when Ricardo Santio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eduardo Fontirroig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulises Donostia having to interfere. A collision led to Bolivia getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Julio Chicote hit a great ball. Camilo Freixa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Epifanio Tuste in the 22nd minute of the match. Bolivia's Eduardo Fontirroig got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Camilo Freixa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Epifanio Tuste in the 26th minute of play. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Gabrio in the 33rd minute of play. 33 minutes into the game, Erasmo Gabrio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Camilo Freixa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 36 played minutes Calabria Norte got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Santio. After a rather tough play, Bolivia's Alejandro Villa got a free kick in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

After a defensive mix-up in Bolivia's zone, Saul Luar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Camilo Freixa came out of the goal and Saul Luar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Fontirroig in the 58th minute of play forced Calabria Norte's goalkeeper Ulises Donostia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Camilo Freixa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Epifanio Tuste, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eduardo Fontirroig blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ulises Donostia having to make a save. The supporters of Bolivia booed when Calabria Norte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herminio Txeru didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute, Epifanio Tuste left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Calabria Norte fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Camilo Freixa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Lehior, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Eduardo Fontirroig came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Bolivia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Fontirroig couldn't finish the play. After 85 minutes, Francisco Gallo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bolivia and the Calabria Norte players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Bolivia getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Francisco Gallo hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Epifanio Tuste sped through Bolivia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Camilo Freixa. Bolivia's Mario Fernandino suffered a sore thigh after 89 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Victorino Ezkerra fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Calabria Norte's protests and gave Victorino Ezkerra a yellow card for diving instead. Bolivia made a substitution. Estefania Mancebo replaced Mario Fernandino. Victorino Ezkerra hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match.
