In the 34th minute, Alberto Tafalla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilmar Severo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Gilmar Severo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilmar Severo having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. FC Wypyszek's Gilmar Severo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save FC Wypyszek from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Luca Zorita took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Gilmar Severo to make any attempt to save it. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 60th minute. The corner led to Mexico's Alberto Tafalla getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. FC Wypyszek made a substitution. Witold Raschke replaced Kasino Grositskiy. Donald Tusk hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Alberto Tafalla might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gilmar Severo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alberto Tafalla ran back to his position shaking his head. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Călin Zeciu in the 95th minute of play. Mexico played a much better game than FC Wypyszek and deserved their victory. The FC Wypyszek players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
