Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Alexandrie CF's Francisco Conceicão started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alexandrie CF's Matthias Brandin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 4th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Francisco Conceicão's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matthias Brandin having to interfere. After having played for 33 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alexandrie CF's Matthias Brandin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 36th minute of play. Tomás Esteves's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matthias Brandin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The supporters of Alexandrie CF booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Mancebo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matthias Brandin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristian Sancho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 85 minute of play. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Matthias Brandin made a huge save. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Franco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a free kick in the 95th minute.
