Youri Djorkaeff took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Youri Djorkaeff in the 13th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Sébastien Milliot threw the ball into play from the sideline. Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Danny Pasquier was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danny Pasquier having to interfere. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when Avel Vat's Youri Djorkaeff fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Youri Djorkaeff put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Camilo Gaos's late challenge caught a Avel Vat's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camilo Gaos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th minute of the match Youri Djorkaeff sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant skillfully saved the ball. In the 57th minute Youri Djorkaeff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Avel Vat's Bilal Moutte got a free kick in the 88th minute. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomas Illescas in the 94thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Danny Pasquier, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Avel Vat were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
