After 12 minutes Olimpia Koło's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mariano Lacasa who took care of the corner kick. 12 minutes into the game, Guillermo Fontirroig lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Pawel Madej. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Pawel Madej made a huge save. Mariano Lacasa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pawel Madej made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Pawel Madej made a huge save. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pawel Madej having to make a save. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Olimpia Koło's goalkeeper Pawel Madej, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 42nd minute of play forced Olimpia Koło's goalkeeper Pawel Madej to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Almants Spicbergs kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Mariano Lacasa took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pawel Madej. Olimpia Koło's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Pawel Madej showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mariano Lacasa was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tolek Jarmulowicz. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Francisco Carballar hit a great ball. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chile's Francisco Carballar quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ubaldo Urbez, made in the 57th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 60th minute of play forced Olimpia Koło's goalkeeper Pawel Madej to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute, Mariano Lacasa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chile fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 65th minute Cyryl Adamus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orlando Casaus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mariano Lacasa in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pawel Madej prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Chile booed when Olimpia Koło was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tzonyo Shkodrev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mariano Lacasa kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Pawel Madej took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pawel Madej came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Mariano Lacasa. But to his dismay, Mariano Lacasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Olimpia Koło's goalkeeper Pawel Madej, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 86 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Sylwester Majorski came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pawel Madej showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. 90 minutes into the game, Chile's Mariano Lacasa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pawel Madej made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Olimpia Koło's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
