In the 5th minute, Erasmo Gabrio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruno Barrett was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Epifanio Tuste had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Epifanio Tuste in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruno Barrett saved Curacao from getting behind. 18 minutes into the match, Saul Luar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Saul Luar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 24th minute, Troy Kennedy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Epifanio Tuste put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Epifanio Tuste in the 28th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Victorino Ezkerra made a precise shot to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Curacao were furious when Charles Cox was red carded, 35 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Charles Cox kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. The audience held their breath when Victorino Ezkerra in the 37th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Bruno Barrett's left hand side. Epifanio Tuste struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Bruno Barrett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calabria Norte. Bruno Barrett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Epifanio Tuste in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th minute Cristian Lehior shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Barrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Santio, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Epifanio Tuste to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Curacao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bertie Johnson to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th play minute Cristian Lehior came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Bruno Barrett. 0-7. Bruno Barrett didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Calabria Norte's Epifanio Tuste shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-8 in the ordered_time% minute. After 70 played minutes, Calabria Norte's Herminio Txeru shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bruno Barrett came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Calabria Norte reached it. Epifanio Tuste's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Bruno Barrett skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 73 minutes, Troy Kennedy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Curacao and the Calabria Norte players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Curacao's Troy Kennedy got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Cristian Lehior sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 77 minutes into the match, Curacao's goal looked a bit too open when Victorino Ezkerra came free, but Bruno Barrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 79 minutes into the game, Harvey Doyle was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Curacao's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Calabria Norte the free kick. After having played for 82 minutes, Erasmo Gabrio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calabria Norte's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erasmo Gabrio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bruno Barrett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Epifanio Tuste, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bruno Barrett made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Fulgencio Lope sent off a good shot on target. 93 minutes into the game, Ricardo Santio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Bruno Barrett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match was over Calabria Norte could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Curacao throughout the match.
