Petruț Chirnoagă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 24th minute of the match. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Petruț Chirnoagă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yan Zhan Cheng kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Alfred Jurgiel tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emiliyan Balachev was the one to do the kick off. Petruț Chirnoagă made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 55th minute. Emiliyan Balachev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Joel Gaona kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Petruț Chirnoagă. That made the score 0-1 in the 61 minute of play. In the 64th minute, Emiliyan Balachev left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC BAYERN MUNCHEN EV. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. When Joel Gaona came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Gaona couldn't finish the play. In the 76th minute, Marcin Nikodemski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 79 minutes, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Gaona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfred Jurgiel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Petruț Chirnoagă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petruț Chirnoagă having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
