The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Donato Foddis in the 2nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 4 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Pekko Rino came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Pekko Rino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pekko Rino in the 5th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Donato Foddis in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, AC Collins's Donato Foddis got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. The throw-in from Felix Garrido in the 12th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by AC Collins's Carlo Maestri. Donato Foddis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind AC Collins's goalkeeper Donato Foddis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, AC Collins's Donato Foddis got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Donato Foddis made a huge save. Pekko Rino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 28th minute of play forced AC Collins's goalkeeper Donato Foddis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 31 minutes, Xavier Figueroa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chile's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xavier Figueroa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mel Önen, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Donato Foddis made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, AC Collins's Carlo Maestri got a free kick in the 40th minute. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mel Önen in the 42nd minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mariano Lacasa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Felix Garrido was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chile's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AC Collins the free kick. In the 51st minute, Felix Garrido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frank Di Toma hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. A collision led to AC Collins getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Frank Di Toma hit a great ball. Chile's attentive Francisco Carballar managed to snatch the ball when Cesare Barberio made a throw-in in the 64th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Casaus in the 67th minute of play forced AC Collins's goalkeeper Donato Foddis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute, Mariano Lacasa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Donato Foddis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mel Önen got free with Thiago Pliego in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 76th minute Chile were awarded a corner. Mariano Lacasa went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Xavier Figueroa almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but AC Collins's Donato Foddis did a great save. Carlo Maestri's late challenge caught a Chile's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlo Maestri helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Perivaldo Furtado in the 80th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 81 minutes, Cesare Barberio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AC Collins and the Chile players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 81st match minute, AC Collins was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesare Barberio to maneuver through the defense. After 86 minutes of play, Chile's Mariano Lacasa made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Donato Foddis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mariano Lacasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Foddis having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Chile fans cheered their team off the field, for while AC Collins had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
