The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jaime Pardo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s zone, Jaime Pardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reinaldo Damião came out of the goal and Jaime Pardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jaime Pardo scored 9-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reinaldo Damião, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 56th minute, Juan Diego Tenorio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Reinaldo Damião was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. Reinaldo Damião took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Pardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Primitivo Escribano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reinaldo Damião having to interfere. Reinaldo Damião showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Primitivo Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Reinaldo Damião dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 12-0. After having played for 75 minutes, Jaime Pardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paraguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Pardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 82 minutes into the match, Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Pardo came free, but Reinaldo Damião reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reinaldo Damião made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Covarrubias in the 83rd minute of play. 84 minutes into the game, Paraguay's Primitivo Escribano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Reinaldo Damião made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 14-0. Paraguay's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
