Virtual Aces's supporters rose to their feet, but George Best was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. John Smed received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 10 minutes, Denver Light mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Virtual Aces and the Honduras players grew even worse after the yellow card. Through an outstanding action, after 11 minutes, Joseph Danielsson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 12th minute, Victor Petersson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A sloppy throw-in by Herman Ekelund in the 23rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Esteban Carvallo. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Petersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the game, Victor Petersson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Lautaro Navarro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Petersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmundo Espiga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. John Smed fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. Edmundo Espiga hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the last second Lautaro Navarro throw himself and got hold of the ball when Victor Petersson in the 59thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Øystein Rullhøj sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victor Petersson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Lautaro Navarro made a huge save. Honduras's attentive Esteban Carvallo managed to snatch the ball when Herman Ekelund made a throw-in in the 65th minute of the game. Herman Ekelund made in the 66th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Øystein Rullhøj immediately put the ball in play. The supporters of Virtual Aces booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milagros Cabal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Virtual Aces made a substitution. Björn Wallin replaced Øystein Rullhøj. The audience was convinced that Victor Petersson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lautaro Navarro was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Lautaro Navarro was a little too slow when Victor Petersson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 0-3. In the 79th minute, Esteban Carvallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luca Espinar hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Marko Willig kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Joseph Danielsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Villa in the 86th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Petersson got free with Lautaro Navarro in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 89 minutes into the game, Victor Petersson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Virtual Aces's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. After a rather tough play, Virtual Aces's Victor Petersson got a free kick in the 89th minute. After 90 played minutes, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joseph Danielsson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Honduras reached it. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Luca Espinar got a free kick in the 93rd minute. When Virtual Aces's Victor Petersson in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Honduras's goalie prevented a goal. The Virtual Aces supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Virtual Aces would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
