Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Erdiano started the match with the kick off. When Jorge Magrina came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the El Salvador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Magrina couldn't finish the play. In the 9th minute Daniel Erdiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Erdiano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Moises Fernandino sped through DEPORTIVO CHINCHI's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gonzalo Pedroso. 22 minutes into the game, Daniel Erdiano recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ricardo Zorita. Daniel Erdiano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julián López got free with Ricardo Zorita in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. DEPORTIVO CHINCHI's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Talat Başdemir in the 38th minute. Talat Başdemir made a great header on DEPORTIVO CHINCHI's corner, it was just that El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita managed to reach the ball for a save. If Ramiro Videl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Abram Luque managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Salvador's supporters rose to their feet, but Abram Luque was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gonzalo Pedroso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by DEPORTIVO CHINCHI's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mateo Leguizamo was slow to take the kick. During this time El Salvador's players had a chance to rest. El Salvador's Mateo Leguizamo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gonzalo Pedroso in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Erdiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 64th minute, Daniel Erdiano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DEPORTIVO CHINCHI fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Talat Başdemir scored 4-1 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardo Zorita, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 74 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Julián López came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julián López fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. Abram Luque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. DEPORTIVO CHINCHI's Ramiro Videl got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. DEPORTIVO CHINCHI fully deserved thier win.
