Patrik Linqvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Ove Kinell replaced Hubert Gruber. Ryttartorpets FF's Gabriel Martinelli got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 19th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Bo Baand tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 22 minutes, Gabriel Martinelli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 24th minute of play forced Ryttartorpets FF's goalkeeper Patrik Linqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Jon Nilsson fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ryttartorpets FF's protests and gave Jon Nilsson a yellow card for diving instead. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gabriel Martinelli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The corner led Ryttartorpets FF's Taco Oldenborger to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Ove Kinell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Ove Kinell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gabriel Martinelli went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 71 minutes into the match, Gabriel Martinelli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gabriel Martinelli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Patrik Linqvist made a huge save. Patrik Linqvist made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Ryttartorpets FF's Morgan Fagerberg got a free kick in the 89th minute. If Bo Baand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Illescas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 93rdth minute, Patrik Linqvist skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrik Linqvist having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ryttartorpets FF.
