Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Vladislav Hampejs took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute of the match, Vladislav Hampejs tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julio Vera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 5th minute of the match Pheonix FC got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcel Militaru ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pheonix FC's goalkeeper Tyge Oehlerich, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcel Militaru in the 8th minute. In the 10th minute 任正振 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felix Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vladislav Hampejs's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tyge Oehlerich saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 21st minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by 任正振 in the 23rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pheonix FC were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marcel Militaru took the corner. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Rafik Zoheir Zerara sent off a good shot on target. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Tyge Oehlerich didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tyge Oehlerich took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Pheonix FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tyge Oehlerich quite easily take care of the ball. Pheonix FC's Tyge Oehlerich played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 34th minute of play. Tyge Oehlerich showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After some careless play in the Pheonix FC defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tyge Oehlerich. The Pheonix FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tyge Oehlerich should have stopped the shot. Daniel Zorita hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. The Pheonix FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristian Sancho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tyge Oehlerich. That made the score 0-2 in the 56 minute of play. In the 59th minute Rafik Zoheir Zerara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafik Zoheir Zerara in the 59th minute of the match. After 60 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. A collision led to Pheonix FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Alan Almeida hit a great ball. The supporters of Pheonix FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Sebastián Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Pheonix FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Aparicio Junel hit a great ball. After 71 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Arias. Marcel Militaru took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Julio Vera. Ecuador's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Pheonix FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marcel Militaru in the 73rd minute. The corner ended in Marcel Militaru almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 76th minute of play forced Pheonix FC's goalkeeper Tyge Oehlerich to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Tyge Oehlerich in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tyge Oehlerich came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristian Sancho slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 83rd minute. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tyge Oehlerich having to interfere. Marcel Militaru kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Cristian Sancho fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 任正振, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pheonix FC throughout the match.
