Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Luiz Eduardo Faria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Natanael in the 4th minute of play. The supporters of RÚSTICOS F.C booed when Merusca F&P - CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaltino de Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bonifacio Ur during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to RÚSTICOS F.C getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Bonifacio Ur hit a great ball. In the 13th match minute, RÚSTICOS F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquilino Tolino to maneuver through the defense. Arsenio Quexal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adelino Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luiz Eduardo Faria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Natanael in the 22nd minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Vinícius Pontes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arsenio Quexal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Bernardino Baumer hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. The Merusca F&P - CIMZ fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Adelino Costa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Natanael in the 44th minute of play forced Merusca F&P - CIMZ's goalkeeper Luiz Eduardo Faria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tiaguinho Cardoso was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Adelino Costa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arsenio Quexal was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. RÚSTICOS F.C's Arsenio Quexal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save RÚSTICOS F.C from getting a goal against them. Bonifacio Ur hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Bonifacio Ur was shown his second yellow card after 63 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 65th minute of the match Vinícius Pontes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arsenio Quexal skillfully saved the ball. 66 minutes into the game, Vinícius Pontes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arsenio Quexal. Vinícius Pontes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. When Abel Natanael fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RÚSTICOS F.C's protests and gave Abel Natanael a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to RÚSTICOS F.C getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Abel Natanael hit a great ball. In the 77th minute, Cícero Diniz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Natanael in the 78th minute of play forced Merusca F&P - CIMZ's goalkeeper Luiz Eduardo Faria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tiaguinho Cardoso received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arsenio Quexal came out and tried to block the shot, but Tiaguinho Cardoso slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 80th minute. Luiz Eduardo Faria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardino Baumer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luiz Eduardo Faria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Natanael in the 91st minute of the match. Arsenio Quexal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isaltino de Azevedo in the 93rd minute. 94 minutes into the game, Abel Natanael cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-7. Luiz Eduardo Faria was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Merusca F&P - CIMZ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Merusca F&P - CIMZ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
