With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ermis Zacharioudakis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. PanSerraikos 1964 F.C. were furious when Petros Charalambakis was red carded, 4 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 5th minute, Petros Charalambakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Emanuel Pihlwall managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuel Pihlwall was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ermis Zacharioudakis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. PanSerraikos 1964 F.C.'s Vrasidas Konstas got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to PanSerraikos 1964 F.C. getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Iordanis Gisgakis hit a great ball. 23 minutes into the match, AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK's goal looked a bit too open when Vassilis Efthimakis came free, but Erik Sigman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joar Näfver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 28 minutes of play, PanSerraikos 1964 F.C.'s Giorgos Stathoulis made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erik Sigman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ermis Zacharioudakis made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Emanuel Pihlwall sent off a good shot on target. Torsten Lundgren scored 1-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ermis Zacharioudakis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vrasidas Konstas kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Torsten Lundgren got free with Ermis Zacharioudakis in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 41 minutes into the match, PanSerraikos 1964 F.C.'s goalkeeper Ermis Zacharioudakis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edvin Västberg. 2-1 became the score in the 43rd minute when Emanuel Pihlwall elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Vassilis Efthimakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Torsten Lundgren was the one to do the kick off. Kjell-Arne Albäck made in the 52nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Börje Ahlstedt immediately put the ball in play. Erik Sigman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vassilis Efthimakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Giorgos Stathoulis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Erik Sigman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of PanSerraikos 1964 F.C. booed when AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joar Näfver didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute Giorgos Stathoulis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Sigman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. PanSerraikos 1964 F.C.'s Ermis Zacharioudakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Pihlwall in the 64th minute of play. Edvin Västberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermis Zacharioudakis having to interfere. In the 69th minute Vassilis Efthimakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Sigman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK's Erik Sigman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vassilis Efthimakis in the 71st minute of play. After 72 played minutes AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK got a freekick which was hit by Rolf Falkrantz. Erik Sigman came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by PanSerraikos 1964 F.C.'s Vrasidas Konstas. But to his dismay, Vrasidas Konstas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. The crowd rose to their feet as PanSerraikos 1964 F.C.'s Giorgos Stathoulis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Erik Sigman. That made the score 2-5 after 89 minutes of play. Erik Sigman was a little too slow when Giorgos Stathoulis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 2-6. The AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. PanSerraikos 1964 F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
