In the 4th minute, Alessandro Paraibano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Merusca F&P - CIMZ getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Abel Britto hit a great ball. Tostão Salles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Rodriguinho Pernambucano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adelino Costa succeeded in the game's 10th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. In the 13th minute, Abel Britto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Merusca F&P - CIMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 16 minutes into the match, Edmílson Vidal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olívio Arruda. Los Bacanas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edmílson Vidal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Nilson Massa kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Olívio Arruda came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Abel Britto. But to his dismay, Abel Britto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Cícero Diniz kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. When Cícero Diniz fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Merusca F&P - CIMZ's protests and gave Cícero Diniz a yellow card for diving instead. Cícero Diniz hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Olívio Arruda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natã Rosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 35th minute, Natã Rosa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Merusca F&P - CIMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. After having played for 40 minutes, Abel Britto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abel Britto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 43 minutes into the match, Edmílson Vidal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olívio Arruda. Los Bacanas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edmílson Vidal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. The Los Bacanas FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Merusca F&P - CIMZ were winning 0-7.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Natã Rosa to make the kick off. Olívio Arruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmílson Vidal in the 52nd minute of play. Adelino Costa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Olívio Arruda made a huge save. In the 55th play minute Edmílson Vidal came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Olívio Arruda. 0-8. In the 60th minute, Edmílson Vidal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Merusca F&P - CIMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. Olívio Arruda was a little too slow when Edmílson Vidal got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 0-11. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Britto in the 71st minute of play forced Los Bacanas FC's goalkeeper Olívio Arruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olívio Arruda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natã Rosa in the 72nd minute of the match. Adelino Costa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Olívio Arruda made a huge save. Merusca F&P - CIMZ made a substitution. Igor de Azevedo replaced Natã Rosa. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Abel Britto in the 80th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Los Bacanas FC's goalie and right to Tiaguinho Cardoso. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Los Bacanas FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 84th minute, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Edmílson Vidal ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Olívio Arruda. Olívio Arruda yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-12. Olívio Arruda came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Adelino Costa. But to his dismay, Adelino Costa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-13. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Edmílson Vidal was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 91st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Edmílson Vidal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Olívio Arruda made a huge save. Igor de Azevedo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Olívio Arruda came out and tried to block the shot, but Igor de Azevedo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-15 in the 96th minute. When the final whistle sounded Merusca F&P - CIMZ left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Los Bacanas FC.
