Hilsea's Walter Allanson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tostão Salles in the 10th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reginaldo Esteves during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Hilsea getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Alain Bamford hit a great ball. With a little luck, Los Bacanas FC's Olívio Arruda got control of the ball when Karl Fry tried to sneak it across the goal line. Walter Allanson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tostão Salles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Los Bacanas FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Nilson Massa hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Tostão Salles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Walter Allanson was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. The Los Bacanas FC fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Los Bacanas FC's Tostão Salles looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Walter Allanson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Célio Dionísio, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. When Los Bacanas FC's Tostão Salles in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hilsea's goalie prevented a goal. In the 37th minute Tostão Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walter Allanson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tostão Salles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Walter Allanson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Célio Dionísio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walter Allanson having to interfere. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hilsea's goalkeeper Walter Allanson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half Los Bacanas FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Célio Dionísio made the kick off in the second half. Olívio Arruda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dean Townsley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olívio Arruda came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Hilsea's Karl Fry. But to his dismay, Karl Fry quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After 88 played minutes Los Bacanas FC got a freekick which was hit by Elivélton Correia. The supporters of Hilsea booed when Los Bacanas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Allan Pereira didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Célio Dionísio in the 95th minute of play forced Hilsea's goalkeeper Walter Allanson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Los Bacanas FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
