The audience was convinced that Hauk Hareide's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andres Lastur was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Anatolio Gasso in the 4th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by La Bichineta's Arnaldo Pirmin. When Hauk Hareide came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the La Bichineta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hauk Hareide couldn't finish the play. In the 13th minute, one of La Bichineta:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for La Bichineta. Martin Jax shot the penalty kick right outside the post. 17 minutes into the match, GERLIROJO Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Hauk Hareide came free, but Andres Lastur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to La Bichineta getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Arnaldo Pirmin hit a great ball. Silvestre Peli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martin Jax went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 31 minutes of play, La Bichineta's Hauk Hareide made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andres Lastur was left in no man's land by his defense there! Silvestre Peli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Jax, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 36th match minute, La Bichineta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo Pirmin to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Hauk Hareide took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Andres Lastur to make any attempt to save it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Martin Jax was the one to do the kick off. Silvestre Peli was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Martin Jax showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 51 minute of play. With an all-out effort, GERLIROJO Ψ's Silvestre Peli threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Genaro Tauro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. GERLIROJO Ψ made a substitution. Aquilino Ihintza replaced Genaro Tauro. Iwan Rawa made in the 64th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by La Bichineta's Arnaldo Pirmin. Silvestre Peli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Jax in the 66th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, GERLIROJO Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Carolo Abancens came free, but Andres Lastur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicolas Salomon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Silvestre Peli made a huge save. After 75 played minutes GERLIROJO Ψ got a freekick which was hit by Roger Bouget. GERLIROJO Ψ made a substitution. Epifanio Ibañez replaced Martin Jax. Silvestre Peli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Epifanio Ibañez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pål Säv kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the game, La Bichineta's Carolo Abancens nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andres Lastur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Silvestre Peli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Epifanio Ibañez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. GERLIROJO Ψ's Nicolas Salomon managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Pål Säv in the 94 minute of the game. Andres Lastur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carolo Abancens's shot from short distance in the 96th minute.
