With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulo Duarte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Paulo Duarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastián Battaglia in the 14th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, La Candela FC's goalkeeper Ruben Sánchez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Charro Dieguez. In the 18th minute Sebastián Battaglia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruben Sánchez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urritz Cugurulls, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miguel Nicolau hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. A collision led to Ya Perdimos F.C. getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Cresconio Salvado hit a great ball. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ya Perdimos F.C.'s goalkeeper Paulo Duarte, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Paulo Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Medina in the 29th minute of play. Nicolás Valentini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicolás Valentini struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Paulo Duarte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Candela FC. In the 38th match minute, Ya Perdimos F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artal Alzorbe to maneuver through the defense. Artal Alzorbe kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. 43 minutes into the game, Nicolás Valentini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Candela FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ya Perdimos F.C. the free kick. Ya Perdimos F.C.'s Teemu Kiviharju was substituted for Cresconio Salvado. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Charro Dieguez made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Sebastián Battaglia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolás Valentini in the 59th minute of play. La Candela FC made a substitution. Roberto Rogel replaced Claudio Marangoni. In the 62nd minute La Candela FC were awarded a corner. Sebastián Battaglia went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Sebastián Battaglia almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ya Perdimos F.C.'s Paulo Duarte did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolás Valentini in the 65th minute of play forced Ya Perdimos F.C.'s goalkeeper Paulo Duarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicolás Valentini's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulo Duarte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Nicolás Valentini who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Paulo Duarte when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ruben Sánchez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urritz Cugurulls, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulo Duarte was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Nicolás Valentini capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nicolás Valentini really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as La Candela FC's Nicolás Valentini slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Paulo Duarte. That made the score 1-2 after 90 minutes of play. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Urritz Cugurulls put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ruben Sánchez. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
