In the 16th minute, Dominik Barowicz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Noboa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Ignacy Petka hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Julian Murillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ryszard Golaszewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 38 played minutes Piast Leszczyny got a freekick which was hit by Krzysztof Gizynski. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Ryszard Golaszewski made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Peru's Luz Tejedor got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliks Pasterski in the 43rd minute of the match. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Sylwester Opat made a throw-in in the 46th minute of the game.
