Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Nestor Bâru started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 9th minute Nestor Bâru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres van der Sar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andres van der Sar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Bâru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nestor Bâru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 15th minute, Nestor Bâru left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Unidad de Matanza fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Unidad de Matanza's Venancio Cristofol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Czeslaw Walec in the 23rd minute of play. Afonso Cardozo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Venancio Cristofol made a huge save. MONTANHA's Andres van der Sar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Bâru in the 31st minute of play. Venancio Cristofol was a little too slow when Wei Guang Xing got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 1-2. Venancio Cristofol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Czeslaw Walec in the 38th minute of play. After having played for 39 minutes, Nestor Bâru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Unidad de Matanza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nestor Bâru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andres van der Sar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nestor Bâru, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Lenni Skensved kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Czeslaw Walec hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Unidad de Matanza's Waldemar Okopny shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 53rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Andres van der Sar but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Bâru in the 56th minute of play forced MONTANHA's goalkeeper Andres van der Sar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Unidad de Matanza's Máximo Kirchner was substituted for Lotfi Ziadi. Andres van der Sar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Máximo Kirchner in the 62nd minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, MONTANHA's goal looked a bit too open when Michal Stehno came free, but Andres van der Sar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Unidad de Matanza's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Cardozo came free, but Venancio Cristofol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Máximo Kirchner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Andres van der Sar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Unidad de Matanza's goal looked a bit too open when Wei Guang Xing came free, but Venancio Cristofol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Máximo Kirchner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andres van der Sar having to interfere. Andres van der Sar made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Maarten Aelbrecht sent off a good shot on target. In the 81st minute Murillo Martins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Venancio Cristofol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Murillo Martins in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Venancio Cristofol saved Unidad de Matanza from getting behind. In the 86th minute Maarten Aelbrecht shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres van der Sar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Michal Stehno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andres van der Sar was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maarten Aelbrecht got free with Andres van der Sar in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 94 minutes into the game, Michal Stehno recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Andres van der Sar. Michal Stehno showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. When the final whistle sounded Unidad de Matanza left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than MONTANHA.
