After a defensive mix-up in La Candela FC's zone, Laurențiu Pora stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruben Sánchez came out of the goal and Laurențiu Pora tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Laurențiu Pora's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ruben Sánchez was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Cazimir Angelescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicolás Valentini in the 39th minute. The supporters of La Candela FC booed when Hayalim Kedoshim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeu Carneiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erhan Alp hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. A collision led to Hayalim Kedoshim getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Garfield Sau hit a great ball. When Tadeu Carneiro fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hayalim Kedoshim's protests and gave Tadeu Carneiro a yellow card for diving instead. Tadeu Carneiro kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Laurențiu Pora was the one to do the kick off. La Candela FC's Ruben Sánchez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dawid Beninda in the 64th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Carlos Puyol in the 66th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by La Candela FC's Miguel Nicolau. Luis Tamaron could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Ruben Sánchez made a huge save. Dawid Beninda made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 77thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Ruben Sánchez would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Dawid Beninda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Ruben Sánchez made a huge save. La Candela FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Hayalim Kedoshim eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
