Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Axel Tasis kicked off to start the match. In the 5th minute, Adrian Radtke ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After having played for 15 minutes, Lautaro Puig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Puig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Hilmar Bäcker could shoot a difficult shot in the 16th minute, which Benito Sanz however easily saved by the left post. If Hilmar Bäcker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lautaro Puig blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ivica Hunds having to make a save. When Aaron Alcocer fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Aaron Alcocer a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Aaron Alcocer got a free kick in the 23rd minute. The audience was convinced that Adrian Radtke's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Radtke in the 29th minute of play. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Türkgücü Hanau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olaf Teutloff didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 40 minutes, Lautaro Puig mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Türkgücü Hanau players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig got a free kick in the 40th minute. Adrian Radtke blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. In the 42nd minute, Türkgücü Hanau's Hilmar Bäcker ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Türkgücü Hanau's Otfried Rendelmann was substituted for Hilmar Bäcker. The wind increased when Ron Ohse made the kick off in the second half. After 58 minutes of play, Türkgücü Hanau's Ole von Külmer made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Otfried Rendelmann managed to get in a good position for a shot. Türkgücü Hanau's supporters rose to their feet, but Otfried Rendelmann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otfried Rendelmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. When Eliseo Noboa fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Eliseo Noboa a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Eliseo Noboa hit a great ball. Marcel Regitz kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Eliseo Noboa struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Ivica Hunds didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ron Ohse went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. After 80 minutes of play, Türkgücü Hanau's Ron Ohse made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Otfried Rendelmann sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. 87 minutes into the game, Ron Ohse cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Juan Rubio kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Serge Heisters hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute Ron Ohse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Türkgücü Hanau walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
