The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 13th minute of the game. One of Panama:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tribos 4EVER:s goal. 15 minutes into the match, Gustavo Gol had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustavo Gol was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. When Panama's Tomas Berganza in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A very good chance. 34 minutes into the game, Panama's Tomas Berganza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edvin van der Saar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Cristiano Faria tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Tomas Berganza made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, one of Panama:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Panama. In the 54th minute there was a penalty for Tribos 4EVER. Gustavo Gol stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Marcos Cotilla. 3-1. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Gol in the 57th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dylan Sarmiento during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 57th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dylan Sarmiento to maneuver through the defense. Gustavo Gol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Tribos 4EVER's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Panama. The supporters of Panama booed when Tribos 4EVER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jardel Messias didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute, Gustavo Gol made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. When the referee blew the final whistle, Tribos 4EVER could leave the field as winners, despite Panama having more of the ball for most of the match.
