The referee ignored Maylandseasky's protests and gave Jaromír Mauer a yellow card for diving instead. In the 71st match minute, Maylandseasky was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaromír Mauer to maneuver through the defense. The Maylandseasky fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Paraguay were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
