Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Cai Inestrosa made the kick off and thus started the match. After 12 minutes Southern Thrashers's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Illescas who took care of the corner kick. When Angelino Ospin came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Southern Thrashers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelino Ospin couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Southern Thrashers booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Angelino Ospin in the 16th minute really tested Jonathan Ferrant's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 17 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Cai Inestrosa came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliot Pfingst made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 24th minute of play. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Southern Thrashers's Cai Inestrosa. But to his dismay, Cai Inestrosa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Cai Inestrosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Cai Inestrosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 31 minutes into the game, Pascal Peters was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Southern Thrashers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. Pascal Peters hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Mieszko Duda's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mieszko Duda helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Southern Thrashers fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! Nurkan Salah scored 2-1 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Southern Thrashers's zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliot Pfingst came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 44th match minute, Southern Thrashers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascal Peters to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nurkan Salah in the 47th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Cai Inestrosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th minute, Cai Inestrosa made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Cai Inestrosa kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the game, Cai Inestrosa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Venezuela's Patricio Costa pulled a muscle in his back after 70 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jackson Millgate during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 76 minutes, Angelino Ospin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Southern Thrashers and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. Angelino Ospin kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eliot Pfingst prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 80 minutes into the match, Nurkan Salah had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nurkan Salah was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Guillermo Mariano hit a great ball. Angelino Ospin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 87thth minute of the game Nurkan Salah who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 87 minutes, Nurkan Salah made it 6-1 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 91st minute. When Cai Inestrosa came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Southern Thrashers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cai Inestrosa couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cai Inestrosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. There was no doubt that Southern Thrashers were the better team. Southern Thrashers's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
