Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Antal Földes got the match started through his kick off. 2 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Müjdat Semin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 5th minute of play forced TheGazette's goalkeeper Müjdat Semin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Müjdat Semin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 9th minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Adriano de Godoi's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adriano de Godoi helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in TheGazette fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 51st minute. Penalty! Müjdat Semin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Saelices, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. The supporters of Ecuador booed when TheGazette was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antal Földes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 59 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita lined in a short shot 2-2 behind a frustrated Müjdat Semin. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 78th minute, Luis Andino made a precise shot to the right of Müjdat Semin. TheGazette's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Müjdat Semin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute Geovanni Félix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Müjdat Semin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 93rd minute.
