Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When TheGazette's Antal Földes in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. The TheGazette fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when TheGazette's Antal Földes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 10 minutes in the game, Antal Földes fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Julio Vera having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 12th minute of play forced TheGazette's goalkeeper Müjdat Semin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Müjdat Semin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Antal Földes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Müjdat Semin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 17 minutes TheGazette's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Agustín Saelices got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Müjdat Semin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 19th minute Antal Földes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Agustín Saelices blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Müjdat Semin having to make a save. In the 27th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Müjdat Semin quite easily take care of the ball. Müjdat Semin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Sebastián Puig, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Müjdat Semin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 31st minute of play forced TheGazette's goalkeeper Müjdat Semin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Müjdat Semin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 36 minutes into the game, Felix Montenegro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TheGazette the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a free kick in the 36th minute. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but TheGazette's Müjdat Semin did a great save. After a defensive mix-up in TheGazette's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Müjdat Semin came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Földes in the 42nd minute of the match. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Müjdat Semin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antal Földes to make the kick off. After 50 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Andino. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerson Alcântara in the 52nd minute of play. Antonio Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Betão Messias took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Julio Vera. Ecuador's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 58th minute, Daniel Zorita reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Müjdat Semin. The goal made the score 1-2. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. TheGazette's Müjdat Semin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 68th minute of play. 73 minutes had been played when some careless play by TheGazette's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Antonio Arias hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the match, TheGazette's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Müjdat Semin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by TheGazette's Antal Földes. But to his dismay, Antal Földes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, TheGazette's Müjdat Semin got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Agustín Saelices fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Müjdat Semin having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in TheGazette's zone, Agustín Saelices stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Müjdat Semin came out of the goal and Agustín Saelices tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
