Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arman Finsberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. 19 minutes into the match, Killinge Rangers's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Arman Finsberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Thomas Hedin sent off a good shot on target. Arman Finsberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 23rd minute of play forced Killinge Rangers's goalkeeper Arman Finsberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Killinge Rangers players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Saelices. Killinge Rangers's Thomas Hedin got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arman Finsberg made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Arman Finsberg made a huge save. Juan Sebastián Puig was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Roger Persson hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Persson in the 65th minute of play. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arman Finsberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Roger Persson fired away an extremely well hit free kick, but unfortunately the ball went just outside to the right hand side of Julio Vera. Killinge Rangers made a substitution. Leonardo Falck replaced Jack Falck. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Persson, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Oliver Collin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
