Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patricio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olivér Marty in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute of the match Orzeł Tychy got a corner. Olivér Marty might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olivér Marty to make the kick off. Guillermo Mariano's late challenge caught a Orzeł Tychy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guillermo Mariano helped the player get up and apologised. Orzeł Tychy's Olivér Marty got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Orzeł Tychy getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Hugon Ramzinski hit a great ball. Feliks Misiewicz hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Tomas Illescas made a great header on Venezuela's corner, it was just that Orzeł Tychy's Dawid Bulkiewicz managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of Orzeł Tychy booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olivér Marty, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The Venezuela fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Orzeł Tychy were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
