The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Piao FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Aristides Alcântara hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jarell Hill got free with Durval Soares in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 15 minutes into the game, Piao FC's Pedro Damásio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Demonde Jacobson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Renato Aragão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Demonde Jacobson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaspar Vilas Boas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute, Aristides Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Jamaica defense, Pedro Damásio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Demonde Jacobson. Demonde Jacobson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jamaica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mateus Casado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renato Aragão in the 45th minute of play forced Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goal looked a bit too open when Renato Aragão came free, but Demonde Jacobson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The audience was convinced that Renato Aragão's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Demonde Jacobson was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Piao FC's Renato Aragão slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Demonde Jacobson. That made the score 0-7 after 60 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Piao FC's Gaspar Vilas Boas got a free kick in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reinaldo Carrasqueira in the 64th minute of play forced Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Aristides Alcântara put it in 0-8 from a short distance just to the right of Demonde Jacobson. Pedro Damásio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Renato Aragão in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Demonde Jacobson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Jamaica getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Karlus Waugh hit a great ball. Demonde Jacobson came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Piao FC's Renato Aragão. But to his dismay, Renato Aragão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. Renato Aragão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Demonde Jacobson made a huge save. In the 88th minute Gaspar Vilas Boas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demonde Jacobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Demonde Jacobson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Vilas Boas in the 91st minute of play. In the 93rd minute of the match Reinaldo Carrasqueira shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Demonde Jacobson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Abílio Pedroso's late challenge caught a Jamaica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abílio Pedroso helped the player get up and apologised. 96 minutes into the match, Renato Aragão dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Demonde Jacobson, 0-11.
